Returns Policy
We do not accept returns, refunds and/or exchanges for change of mind under any circumstances, due to the nature of our products being food.
Damages and Defective Items
Colourful Confectionery cannot take responsibility for melted chocolate, or other confectionery (including pick n mix items and freeze dried items) due to the fragile nature of these products, and the weather. All care is taken to ensure orders get to you in one piece.
Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately (via email: colourful.confectionery@outlook.com) if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
We personally check and carefully pack all items for shipping. It is for this reason that if you find your item defective (excludes melted items), whilst we are more than happy to replace the item, return postage will be at buyers cost.
If the item is no longer available, a full refund will be given upon return of the purchased item.
Refunds will be processed once the product is received by us and its original condition is verified, as well of proof of return.
Unfortunately, shipping charges will not be refunded and buyers are responsible for return shipping charges.
If you receive an item which was damaged during transit, please make sure to:
- 1) contact us via email with your order number
- 2) document the damage including a photo
- 3) contact Australia Post
Melted Items
Unfortunately we cannot refund melted items, please understand this when placing your order. We try our best to avoid this on our end but unfortunately most chocolate will begin to melt from 28 degrees. We do not use insulated boxes, only cardboard boxes. Please keep this in mind if you are ordering during the warmer months, or when outside temperatures are above 28 degrees.
We also cannot refund items that have melted due to a parcel sitting out after being delivered. Once a parcel has been delivered, it is your property so you must arrange for it to be delivered carefully.
What we recommend if ordering Chocolate during warmer months:
- Order via Express shipping
- Check the weather ahead of time. If your order will take a few days to arrive, make sure it is not during a heat wave. Some post vans are not fully airconditioned.
- Place your order at the start of the week so that your order will not be sitting in a depot all weekend.
- We ask for all parcels to be signed for, if you wish for it to be left then make sure someone will be able to collect it for you if you are not home.
